From the sun-drenched hills at ~640 m between the famed regions of Nemea and Aigialeia, this dry red (50 % Agiorgitiko / 50 % Mavrodaphne) offers a vivid ruby-to-purple colour and opens with an expressive nose of violet, lavender and laurel, layered with sour cherry, blueberry, redcurrant, vanilla, cinnamon and dark chocolate. The palate is medium-bodied with refined tannins, lively acidity and rich red- and black-fruit core, finishing elegant, sustained and perfect for decanting 30 minutes ahead. Ideal with grilled lamb, rich meaty casseroles or hard/aged cheeses.
