Join us at The Curious Cafe for an educational and easy-going Belgian beer experience celebrating some of Belgium’s most iconic producers. This guided tasting features four standout Belgian beers paired with food, led by Chase Degenhardt, Territory Manager for Premier Brands.
Along the way, you’ll learn what makes Belgian brewing so unique, from yeast and hops to balance, history, and food pairing, all in a relaxed, social setting.

Join us at Franco’s Liquor Store on Saturday, May 23rd from 1PM–4PM to explore the legendary wines of Barolo with Luigi, featuring bottles from historic producer Borgogno. Discover the power and elegance of Nebbiolo while learning about one of Piedmont’s most celebrated wine regions.

Sommelier Showdown: Kelowna
Sommelier Showdown Kelowna takes place at La Bussola Restaurant and features a reception with canapés followed by a four-course dinner paired with nine wines, as two top Sommeliers compete to create the perfect pairings for dishes designed by Chef Lauretta Coccaro.
Guests will taste both wines with each course and vote for the winning pairing using their smartphones. The competition takes place across three events: June 7th, July 12th, and the Final Showdown on August 16th, 2026, with the winners of the first two rounds advancing to the final dinner. The evening begins at 6:00 PM with a canapé reception, and at 6:30 PM the four-course dinner begins with introductions to the competing Sommeliers and Chef Lauretta Coccaro.
