Luigi pours Italy's two most celebrated Nebbiolos side by side, labels hidden. Same grape, same corner of Piedmont, two completely different personalities. Can you tell which is which? Barolo brings the power: dense tannin, long ageing, and that tar-and-roses core built to last decades. Barbaresco, from warmer sites near the Tanaro river, offers more perfume and a lighter touch, ready to drink years sooner. Luigi will walk you through what to look for in the glass and how to pick the right bottle for the right occasion. No experience needed, just curiosity and an open mind.

Two regions, one reputation: the Left Bank leans on Cabernet Sauvignon for firm structure, blackcurrant, and cedar, while the Right Bank builds around Merlot for something rounder, plusher, and ready sooner. Luigi will decode the label, break down the blend, and point out which bottles overdeliver at everyday prices.
