The Côtes du Rhône regional appellation extends over 124 miles from Vienne to Avignon and covers six departments. It is the second largest appellation in France in terms of volume. Thanks to variations in microclimates, the diversity of soil and varietals, the vineyards of Côtes du Rhône produce a vast range of wines capable of pleasing all palates. The rosé production is very tiny as it represents less than 10% of the total. The Louis Bernard Côtes du Rhône Rosé is a great quality wine.
