Produced in the historic Nemea region of the Peloponnese, Zaharias Winery is a family-owned estate dedicated to showcasing Greece’s indigenous grape varieties and unique terroir. The Lexis Old Vines bottling is crafted from mature Agiorgitiko vines, one of Greece’s most celebrated red grapes, grown in the elevated vineyards of Nemea where warm days and cool nights help develop both richness and balance.

Elegant and expressive, this wine opens with aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, plum, and violet, layered with notes of sweet spice, cocoa, and Mediterranean herbs. Medium to full-bodied with silky tannins and vibrant acidity, the palate delivers generous dark fruit alongside subtle earthy complexity and a smooth, lingering finish.

A refined and versatile Greek red, ideal alongside lamb, grilled meats, tomato-based pasta dishes, moussaka, or aged cheeses. Rich yet balanced, it offers an excellent introduction to the depth and character of Agiorgitiko.
