Le Vieux Pin's Équinoxe Syrah famously won “World's Best Syrah” at the Judgement of Montréal in a blind tasting against top Northern Rhône and Australian producers. This Oliver, BC estate continues to produce some of the most compelling cool-climate Syrah anywhere.

The 2017 opens with captivating aromas of violets, black pepper, white pepper, and baking spices. The palate is rich yet refined — dark plum, smoked meat, and graphite wrapped in supple tannins with a savoury, lingering finish. This is Syrah with a distinctly Okanagan personality — Northern Rhône elegance meets New World concentration.
