Venturi-Schulze - Kerner 2014
750 ml | Alcohol/Vol: 12.7%
Kerner was initially bred in Germany in 1929 by August Herold by crossing Trollinger and Riesling. With its subtle floral and peach notes and bright mineral/citrus finish, it is a great food wine when some lively acidity is called for. Try with foods with some “green” flavours such as lime, jalapeño and tomatillo salsa on grilled snapper, or perhaps a rich beef curry with a squeeze of lime.
