Deep purple with violet glints, this is Puglia's Negroamaro in generous form, aged four to six months in French oak. The nose is intense and lasting — blackcurrant and wild berries, spice, with balsamic and vanilla threading through — and the palate is full-bodied, soft and well-balanced. Pour it with hearty pasta, grilled and braised meats, or a board of aged cheese.
