Montenidoli is one of the reference estates for Vernaccia, farming organically in the hills west of San Gimignano. Expect a golden-tinged white with herbal and almond aromatics, a rich but firmly dry palate, and a long, faintly bitter finish that is the grape's signature. It shines with olive-oil-driven Mediterranean cooking, fried or raw fish, shellfish, and greens with a bit of bite.
