A characterful red from Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico's leading wine region, where limestone soils and cooling Pacific breezes make for a climate not unlike southern France. Deep ruby, with layers of blackberry, plum and cherry alongside violet, leather, sweet spice and a hint of chocolate from a year in French oak. It is velvety and generous but stays balanced, with supple tannins and a lifted, savoury finish. A natural fit for grilled steak, lamb, mole, or anything off the barbecue.
