L'Orme de Rauzan-Gassies Haut-Médoc

L'Orme de Rauzan-Gassies is the Haut-Médoc bottling from the team behind Château Rauzan-Gassies, the Margaux second growth. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot off gravel soils on the left bank.

Classic claret: blackcurrant and cedar with a graphite edge, firm but polished tannin, and a dry savoury finish. Decant it, or give it a few years. Made for red meat — steak, lamb, a Sunday roast.
