Massolino Langhe Nebbiolo 2018

The vines for the Langhe Nebbiolo di Massolino are in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo. It's made entirely of Nebbiolo grapes that were hand-picked in the second half of October. Fermentation takes place, followed by an 8-10 day maceration period, before the wine is aged in huge barrels for more than a year.

Garnet red. Delicate and pleasant on the nose; the predominant notes are of raspberry and violet, with the imposition of secondary aromas very similar to those of Barolo as it ages. A complete and temptingly harmonious wine. Pairs well with rich and tasty dishes, from fresh pasta with meat sauce, to grilled or roasted red meat dishes. It is also excellent with soft and delicate blue cheeses.
