KOYLE ROYALE CARMENÈRE

A Carmenère from Los Lingues in Chile’s Colchagua Andes, grown around 450 metres elevation on clay and basalt-rich soils. The profile shows blackberry, dark plum, dried herbs and sandalwood, with layers of peppery spice and subtle earthy character. The palate is structured but polished, with silky tannins, good freshness and a long, savoury finish. Koyle farms the vineyard using certified organic and biodynamic practices.
