In the glass, this wine is sheer, unadulterated pleasure: It explodes with ripe black raspberry, juicy plum, anise, forest floor, rose petals, and a hint of spice on the silky, dry finish. The palate is unabashedly plush for young Burgundy, with a noticeably firm mineral grip that steers you directly into elite Burgundy. Great concentration, finely structured tannins and structure that is more elegant and longer on the finish than most. It is both an EXCELLENT red Burgundy and a rare, incredible value!”
