Founded in the heart of Dogliani, Chionetti is regarded as one of the benchmark producers of Dolcetto in Piedmont, helping elevate the grape from a simple everyday wine into a more serious, terroir-driven expression. The estate farms organically and focuses on hillside vineyards with low yields, showcasing the depth and character possible from Dogliani’s unique soils and elevation.

The San Luigi bottling is vibrant and expressive, opening with aromas of black cherry, wild blackberry, violet, and subtle almond notes, layered with hints of spice and earthy minerality. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity, soft tannins, and a smooth yet structured palate, it delivers purity of fruit alongside the savoury edge that defines great Dolcetto.
