From Viña Carmen's Alto Jahuel estate in the upper Maipo Valley, this is a modern, polished Chilean red. Forest berry fruit and fresh violet notes lead, tannins are smooth and well-worked, and the finish is supple but refreshing rather than heavy. Pairs happily with grilled steak, lamb, or a well-charred burger.
