Here's a big, brawny, youthful Napa cab that shows excellent cabernet character and more so than many of its Napa peers, largely based on the lifted nose of cassis, subtle mint, violet and tobacco coated in oak vanillin. It is full bodied (15.5%) dense, thick and fairly tannic, but drenched with fruit. Excellent focus and length. This needs to go deep into the cellar for at least five years. Score - 94.
