The estate farms sustainably across the rolling hills surrounding Montefalco, focusing on low yields and meticulous vineyard management to produce wines that reflect the power and authenticity of the region. Montefalco Sagrantino is one of Italy’s most distinctive and age-worthy red wines, often referred to as the "King of Umbria."

Deep, intense, and complex, this wine opens with aromas of blackberry, black cherry, plum, and dried fig, layered with notes of cocoa, tobacco, leather, sweet spice, and Mediterranean herbs. Full-bodied with firm tannins and vibrant acidity, the palate is powerful yet balanced, delivering exceptional depth, structure, and a long, savoury finish.

A bold and cellar-worthy red, ideal alongside braised meats, wild game, lamb, truffle dishes, aged Pecorino, and rich Italian cuisine. Decanting is recommended when enjoyed young, while additional aging will reward patience with greater complexity and elegance.
