Amarone Classico Degani 2019

A wine close to Luigi's heart — this Amarone della Valpolicella Classico from the Degani family estate in Veneto is crafted using the traditional appassimento method, where hand-selected Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes are dried for months to concentrate their flavours before pressing.

Tasting Notes: Brooding aromas of baked plums, allspice, and black pepper give way to a lush, full-bodied palate of blackberry compote, dried fig, chocolate shavings, and espresso grounds. The finish is plush and lingering with subtle floral and savoury notes.
