Achával-Ferrer Cabernet Franc (Mendoza, Argentina) is a polished, high-altitude expression of the grape, balancing ripe fruit with fresh, savoury detail; expect black cherry and plum up front, followed by classic Cabernet Franc notes of violet, graphite, fresh herbs, and a hint of peppery spice, with firm-but-silky tannins and a long, structured finish—excellent with grilled steak, lamb, chimichurri, roasted vegetables, and aged cheeses.
