The wine is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, with a three-week maceration period. The Syrah and Mourvèdre are aged for a year in equal parts new French oak, one-year-old, and two-year-old barrels, while the Grenache is matured in concrete and century-old oak vats before blending.

The wine features inky black and red fruit on a full, chewy palate with oxidative notes, brightened by tart currant acidity and structured by furry, sticky tannins. It pairs well with a hearty lamb or vegetable stew to bring all the elements together.
