The Familia Furlotti Malbec is all about balance and beauty.  This delicacy of the wine shows off a velvety blood red robe when poured into the glass.  It has an excellent nose of red currant, pomegranate, wild raspberries, blackberry, plum purple flowers with notes of peppery spice.  This wine is incredibly balanced and well delineated with fresh red berry flavors, savory acidity and a very plush long mouth-filling finish.  It is a true treat to drink by itself, but it pairs excellently with grilled flank steak in a chimichurri sauce, caramelized beef short ribs, or roasted wild duck breast w/ a cherry chutney.
