Summerhill Pinot Noir Icewine 2015

This complex icewine offers pronounced notes of dried strawberry, rhubarb, ripe cherries, blackberry, and marmalade with refreshing acidity and long-lasting finish. The high alcohol balances the natural sweetness. Truly exceptional. Harvested and pressed on November 26th, 2015 at -9°C with 36% grape sugars at pressing. Grapes were pressed frozen to yield small amounts of rich, sweet juice. The wine fermented slowly and stopped naturally with a high degree of residual sweetness.
